Quick Start
Guide

This is a quick reference and does not replace the Basic User Manual. Please refer to the Basic User Manual for more detailed information.

Get started

Congratulations!

You just received your Vscan Extend. The system’s impressive imaging capabilities are, literally, within your reach.

Get started with out tutorial. It will guide you through system activation and registration and help you find and use the features most important to you.

Step 1

Charge and connect your Vscan Extend

You may need to insert the battery first.

NOTE: The Vscan Extend cannot be charged via the USB cable.

Activate your Vscan Extend

Press the Power button
(hard key) to power ON Vscan Extend

The startup screen displays

Press ‘Change Language’
to set the desired language

Set Date and Time

Press Register
to register the device and move to the next step of the guide.

NOTE: In case Wi-Fi connection is lost
Menu > Settings > Connect Network

Register your Vscan Extend

NOTE: Your Vscan Extend needs to be connected to the Internet during this step.

Press “Register“ on your device and follow instructions on the screen.

You will need to enter your details. Then, you will receive an email with a link to set your password.

If you are already registered, press “Already Registered” instead and follow instructions on the screen.

Learn how to clean your Vscan Extend

Power off and disconnect the device from the AC/DC adapter before cleaning. Use a soft cloth moistened with a soap and water solution to wipe the probe, cable, and device. Do not spray or soak the system. Use compatible probe cleaning, disinfection and gel products. You can view a list of compatible products here.
